اسے آواز دینے سے ذرا پہلے
یہ اپنے ذہن میں رکھنا
کہ جب کوئی
کسی کو چھوڑ جانے کا
ارادہ کر ہی لیتا ہے
تو پھر مغموم
آوازیں
کہیں دم توڑتے لہجے
بکھرتے ٹوٹتے لفظوں کی جھنکاریں
بس اک ہارے کھلاڑی سے زیادہ
کچھ نہیں ہوتیں
