عمر کے جس حصے میں لڑکیاں
تتلیوں کے سنگ اڑنا سیکھتی ہیں
میں نے تب ماں سے دکھ چھپانا سیکھا
اب یوں ہے کہ
عمر کے اس حصے میں
جب محبت چاروں طرف ہے
میں نے زندگی کو خط لکھ بھیجا کہ اب بس کر
میں تھک گئی ہوں۔۔۔۔
