 There comes a point in our lives when we become so fond of a person that even the thought of losing them shakes us up! In front of them you have bared your soul out, you need them the most, you love them the most but they don't love you the same way as you love them, that thought of losing you doesn't shake them up because they are only using you for their own benefits. First they make you feel like you mean everything to them and when they are tired of you they start treating you like shit. They keep playing with your feelings, they keep hurting you and when they find someone better than you, they just throw you aside. Then why do you want to hold onto them? Just because of the fear of losing them? Just because you cannot imagine living your life without them?

But dear you don't deserve all those sleepless nights, all those days when you wipe your cheeks after every few seconds, you don't deserve those days when you shut yourself in a room and refuse to start your day because your energy has drained out. You deserve a person who values you, who puts you on a pedestal and tells you that you’re perfect.

What are we really scared of losing if we let go? The maybes? The almosts? The assumptions? The 'what ifs' and what could be? But why do you care when the other person has already given up on you? They may have broken you down to the core, and you can do nothing but hide it, but they did not ruin you. You learned a lot from them, including that you can take a lot more crap than you used to know. So let go of everyone who disturbs your peace. You are valuable, so please stop tolerating such people who are so apathetic towards you. You deserve better than this❤️
