The King Chronicles ~ Solomon Lives!
'Preface'
Unlike the other Kings Solomon never remembered death, he just knew it occurred!
Many of his past life memories would start as a young child, a teenager, a young man beginning life and sometimes he was already quite old. He didn't often think about his lives, he just knew that each one held a key to the final destination, and he knew there was something that would tie them all together. He just didn’t know when!
He had loved and lost often. He remembered them all but none as vivid as Maria.
Of all the women in his past lives, she was the only one he had come across in several lives and although his memory of her had been vivid, she never remembered him, well nearly never.
Many lives earlier, it was the first time he had met Maria as a younger child. They found each other accidently sitting next to each other in church, their respective families sitting either side. After church their parents struck up a conversation, as they waited for their parents to finish their conversation, Maria had grabbed Solomon’s hand and guided him toward the river.
She was running ahead of him, her black hair trailing in the wind, she was giggling and just so happy with life. He had known it was her as soon as he had sat next to her on the pew. Now he was calling out her name "Maria", but she kept running like she didn't hear him, he kept calling, but she didn't stop, finally he caught up to her and as he swung her around, he saw that she was actually crying, he wiped the tears from her face and asked what's wrong.
"Solomon, I remember you" she whispered
Solomon was so shocked by the revelation, never had anyone ever remembered him, nor his ‘real’ name. Yet here she was addressing him in his name of Kings.
They were twelve at the time, it was a fleeting moment. But those few seconds had since lived with him for hundreds of years, he could see her expression change from one of recognition to one he felt more closely, fear!
She started to stammer..
"How do I know you?"
"Why do I know you?"
"We only just met didn't we, but the feeling it's so strong, Why?"
He could see the confusion in her eyes, and with tears beginning to cascade down her cheek(pointing at her heart) she said, "I feel in here you are something to me, it hurts Solomon, it hurts like fire" and with that she turned and started to run back toward the church..
“Maria”, Solomon yelled, for a second she stopped and yelled back, I am not Maria, and ran off.
Her words stopped him in his tracks, what did this mean. Was it Maria?
He never saw Maria in that life again, for later that same night at some point he died. That had been his shortest life, but one of his most vivid memories..
What had it meant, how had she recognized him?
The next time he saw Maria, it was at least four lifetimes later, he came into her life as a friend of her son, they had both just graduated military school and there she was, running over to him, but it wasn't to him she was running, it was to Michael. She was smiling and her black hair was flowing, he never got tired of these first encounters although sometimes they certainly took him by surprise, because it wasn't until that exact moment on that new first encounter that his memories of her would flood back, this time like others, their lives crossed but did not intertwine, she did not recognize him, she had her life. She gave Michael a mother's hug, pure and unabated, she then turned to me and hugged me close. You must be Jack, I can't believe we're finally meeting you, Michael has told us so much about you, thank goodness he had you with him through training, I feel like I already know you.
Solomon’s name in this life was Jack, he breathed her in, his life seemed so unfair, what was the meaning of this torture.
The hug was fleeting, as she let him go, he saw a huge man come up behind her.
"Jack this is Mr Brant, Michael’s father"
At that the huge man offered Solomon a firm hand shake, then released his hand and hugged Maria.
Michael you're mother and I are so proud of you. Michael hugged both of his parents.
That lifetime had been long, Michael and I grew old together, I never married, I focused on the adventures that life brought me and it was quite the journey, I saw Maria several times in that lifetime, that was where I learned to love her from afar.
The last time I saw Maria, she was an old woman. She had lived her life, I was maybe 30 and was called to her home as her physician. I didn’t recognize her at first, but when she touched my hand, I felt the same warm sensation from memories of long ago.
There had been something different about this encounter, he couldn’t quite know what until one day it became vividly obvious.
Never to be the last touch until I have it with you ~ find the life you really want..
And then suddenly there was light! So begin the King Chronicles!
