Ik umar talak ashk fishaani mein raha hai,
Ay Ishq ! tera dard rawaani mein raha hai,

 Ye chorr mere saath kabhi tha k nahi tha,
Wo shakhs magar meri kahaani mein raha hai,

 Wo saath nahi mere magar sach hai hamesha,
Wo shakhs meri aankh k paani mein raha hai,
