محبت مختصر بھی ہو تو
اُس کو بھولنے میں عُمر لگتی ہے
وہ چہرہ بھول جاتا ہے
مگر اُس سے جُڑی دل کی سبھی یادیں
آکاس بیل کی مانند
روح کے شجر سے شاخ درشاخ
لپٹی ہی رہتی ہیں
انھیں خود سے جُدا کرنے میں
اک عمر لگتی ہ
